Get Involved

 

 

SNUG is run entirely by volunteers and has been going since approx 2001. We always need more help and support.

We're a friendly bunch. Many of us are getting on a bit so we're particularly keen to involve some younger volunteers.

Amongst other things, our volunteers benefit from: 

  • Social contact
  • Feeling like they are doing something worthwhile by giving back to the environment and community
  • Having a say in how the common is used and managed
  • Great experience for those wishing to build their CV or simply learn something new. 

No experience required! Just a willingness to get involved.

Opportunities include:

  • Tree Planting and Care
  • Event Organisation, stewarding and setup
  • Cycle Repairing 
  • Communications & Administration (e.g. social media, website, events, email correspondence)
  • Fundraising
