Green activities
- Weekly watering sessions every Wednesday, 6- 7.30/8pm. From now until late September we need to water the young trees and shrubs. During the hosepipe ban, we are allowed to water young trees planted less than 3 years ago. Even without a drought, young trees need a large amount of water to keep them alive for the first 3 years after planting. very extra person makes a huge difference. It's a very good work-out
- Gardening and plant care sessions, 1st Saturday each month 10am to 12 noon. Tasks vary by season and include e.g. weeding, pruning and planting. Just turn up. No skills or tools required, but wear suitable clothing.

Local guided history tour

Regular SNUG meetings

Winter sing-song 24th Dec
Our annual seasonal sing-song on 24th December draws large numbers. We meet at the fountain about 3.30 and go to the Boiler House afterward for more singing, mulled wine and mince pies. Watch this space for updates
